AOG Remote (L-Series only) - AO-30-406L

The AOG Multi-Color Light Bar Remote (AO-30-406L) is the dedicated remote control for the LED lighting found on the new American Outdoor Grill (AOG) L-Series models.

Key Technical Specifications

• Compatibility: Exclusively for L-Series grills equipped with the multi-color LED light bar. It is not compatible with T-Series (which uses piezo ignition and generally lacks these electronics) or older L-Series models that only featured internal halogen lights.
• Color Control: It allows you to cycle through a variety of colors and lighting modes to adjust the outdoor ambiance.
• Storage: Most L-Series grills feature a dedicated pocket holder located within the drip tray to store this remote when not in use, protecting it from the elements.
• Power Source: Operates via a standard button-cell battery (typically CR2025 or CR2032).

Functional Use

The remote controls the external LED light bar located above the control knobs. While the internal halogen lights are usually controlled by a push-button switch on the grill face, this remote manages:

• Power: Turning the accent light bar on and off.
• Color Selection: Static color choices (such as Blue, White, Red, or Green, etc.).
• Patterns: Transitions like fading or strobing between colors.
• Controls: Multi-Color Light Bar to provide style and ambience

Maintenance Note

If the light bar is not responding to the remote, the most common solution is replacing the battery or ensuring the 12V transformer for the grill is properly plugged into a GFI outlet, as the light bar relies on the grill’s main power supply.
